The drawings and specification on the next page come from a wonderful set of books written (with the help of others) by GAT Middleton. The title of the 5 volume series is :

Modern Buildings: Their Planning, Construction & Equipment, Volume 1, Caxton Publishing, London, approx 1908.

I am fairly certain these are out of copyright - indeed the whole set can be downloaded from a Canadian university web site.
